What to look for when choosing a studio

There are a few things to consider when choosing a studio. Here are the highlights of The Academy of Music.
  • All of our instructors are fingerprinted and cleared through our local school district or community center.
  • Our instructors are required to have either a degree in music or at least 10 years of private instruction.
  • It is important for our instructors to have a good working report with their students and parents.
  • In order to motivate students to practice The Academy has a reward system in place which relieves parents of the responsibility of getting their students to practice.
  • We do not require a registration fee. A two week deposit is required however, this deposit can be used as a credit upon termination of lessons.
  • The Academy provides two recitals a year which allows students to perform for each other and their friends and families. This also allows students to watch each other progress over time.
  • We pride ourselves in our ‘mom and pop’ studio feel.
